Stanbridge Parent Association
Every current parent is a member of the Stanbridge Parent Association (SPA). SPA is a vibrant and voluntary organization that fosters community building, communication, and coordination of parent participation in support of Stanbridge. With monthly meetings on campus, often with a staff member giving a presentation, we always have exciting ideas and conversations all while building relationships with other parents.
Parent participation is encouraged and appreciated as it is the cornerstone on which many activities are created. We have a number of fundraisers, friend-raisers and other events that help build support and awareness of the Stanbridge community. Past events have included a country-western hoedown, on-campus car washes, a Halloween haunted house for students, Winter Wonderland to celebrate the holidays and many more events. We also help organize staff appreciation events, which include a "Soup From the Heart" luncheon each February and National Teacher Appreciation Week in May. SPA has a Buddy Program to welcome our new families into the Stanbridge community and also hosts the Graduation Day reception on the last day of school.
Each division has parent representatives who help facilitate communication, support the teacher(s), and organize class parties and socials for the students as well as the parents. These representatives come together once a month for a Parent Council meeting with our Head of School.
