Summer School
Stanbridge Academy offers its students a robust summer school program that focuses on building social and life skills, as well as providing a means of increasing skills in academics, sportsmanship, and the arts.
We offer a four class series for high school students called Bridges to Independence where students focus on the career, college, financial, and living skills needed to prepare them for life after high school. For elementary-aged students, we offer a week-long pragmatics and life skills class suitable for the age range of the students enrolled. Other classes focus on critical thinking, sportsmanship and physical activity, and arts education through cultural experiences and hands-on learning. The summer school program helps keep our students’ minds working as they explore and discover new information about the world and themselves in a familiar and nurturing environment.
