Academic SupportStudents receive their primary academic support through their subject teachers. Additionally, one on one and small group support is available for students through the elementary and high school resource staff. Some student families may choose to access further additional help from outside professionals for specific individual student needs.
Students begin their day at school in an advisory section with their advisor. This staff teacher serves as the student's primary advisor for general school information and communications. Most students have a resource period at the end of the day with their advisor where questions regarding academics, homework and schedules can be answered. Students are encouraged to make arrangements with specific subject teachers to receive extra help when needed. |
Campus Library
Stanbridge has over 4,000 books in its new library collection. Alexandria software is used to easily browse the library book catelogue and automate our checkout procedure. With funding received from private donors and grants, Stanbridge was able to purchase encyclopedias, reference materials and an extensive library collection, enabling students to do research work on campus.
Our collection includes books for pleasure reading, as well as non-fiction and educational materials with a large collection of digital and multi-media materials especially helpful to students with learning differences.
