Stanbridge has been a way better experience. I have friends that are cool and actually like me. I like my teachers, and work makes more sense. I’ve become more open and friendly, I became a better person. But I still had low experiences here, no school is perfect. Stanbridge is a school, there are going to be arguments and loud noises, but it’s still great. I love Stanbridge, we both got better over the time I’ve been here, and we both still have some growing to do.
I want to thank Maureen, for being everyone's grandmother, the fun one, you really made me feel special. Thank you Allison for getting me through Hamlet, seriously that book would have been unbearable without you. Thank you Matt for being our own friendly neighborhood Spiderman. Thank you Travis, your jokes were frankly punishing. Thank you Arlene and Jace for being my closest friends, and being total weirdos with me. Most importantly I need to thank my family. My kind, wonderful, and really geeky family, who are honestly the coolest people in this room, even though they still use the word "groovy."
Next year I’ll be attending Cañada College so I can get my necessary classes done. Then I will attend Notre Dame de Namur to pursue a special education degree. I want to be a high school English teacher here at Stanbridge, and then the principal. I really want to help kids like me, and I already know this place so well. I can do this, I am ready.
