The Junior High students will be taking a day trip to the San Mateo Cinemark Theatres to see The Hunger Games on Friday, March 23rd. The permission form is now available on our Forms page.
We'll be holding our Spring Open House from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 15th. The event is open to current Stanbridge families as well as anyone who may be considering Stanbridge for their child (or who simply may be curious about what our school has to offer). The event will feature a welcome from the Head of School, presentations from counselors and staff, as well as guided tours of the campus and classrooms. This is our final Open House event of the school year, and a fantastic opportunity to learn about Stanbridge firsthand!
A reminder that this Wednesday, March 14th, is the date for this month's Stanbridge Parent Association meeting. Glenn Motola, CEO of The Arc in San Francisco, was scheduled to speak at the meeting, but due to a scheduling conflict his appearance has been cancelled. Nonetheless, SPA will still hold its regularly-scheduled meeting at 8:30 a.m. in Hayden Hall.

The Upper Elementary students will be taking an overnight trip to the Marin Headlands for their Spring experiential trip, March 26-28. Details about the trip, along with permission and medication forms, are available on our Forms page.
Photos from Meagan Cameron's volunteer trip to Cambodia have been posted in our website's online photo galleries. The pictures can be accessed through the Parent Portal's Media Room. The Second Annual Students vs. Staff basketball game will be this Friday afternoon, March 9th (see our Bulldogs Basketball page or Marilyn's Weekly Bridge for details). Beyond the court, however, you can show your Stanbridge spirit by ordering a Bulldogs t-shirt or hooded sweatshirt now through March 16th. Order forms are available in the main office and on our website's Forms page. The gear is available in a variety of styles and sizes, and orders must be placed by Friday, March 16th. So get in gear and Go Dawgs!

On March 9, Opening Doors PTA is holding an afternoon seminar titled "Discovering the Power of Play--Integrated Playgroups and Sensory Integration: Blending Best Practices to Support Children in Peer Play." The seminar will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. in Redwood City and you can pre-register online.
On March 20 and March 21, Rick Wolff will be speaking at various Bay Area locations as part of the Common Ground Speaker Series.
