Hello again. It was a quiet week on campus with the high school students away on their fall experiential trip. The group returned on Friday afternoon, and after a weekend of unpacking, cleaning-up and catching-up on rest, it will be back to a normal routine next week. It sounds like it was a great week away, however, and we'll be posting pictures in our Media Room next week, so be sure to check the blog for when we get the pics online.
The fall experientials continue this coming week when our Middle Elementary division heads to Westminster Woods, October 2-4. A familiar retreat for our students in years past, Westminster will get a double dose of Stanbridge this month as our Junior High division will also be visiting October 15-17.
Also coming up this week, the October SPA meeting will be held on Wednesday morning, 8:30 a.m. in Hayden Hall. There are a lot of upcoming events on the calendar, including the first high school dance of the school year and the end-of-the-month Halloween festivities. All Stanbridge parents and guardians are encouraged to attend the meeting; hope to see you there.
And don't forget that our November 16th "Cheers to 30 Years!" fall gala is coming soon. Already, a number of fabulous gift items have been donated for the silent auction, including vacation getaways, restaurant gift certificates, wine and gift baskets, and more. We're still soliciting donations and hoping you can help. There is a solicitation letter and donor agreement form packet on our Files & Forms page. If you would like to contribute items for the auction, please complete a copy of the packet and return the form and item(s) to the main office. Thanks to the many parents, guardians, and local businesses who have already donated items--we have a great variety so far which will help make this debut event a night to remember!
A lot to cover before the big night, however, including a busy October. It's back to school on Monday; until then, have a great weekend.
