This Friday, October 7th, Stanbridge is offering a community service opportunity to volunteer at the B.O.K. Ranch in Woodside. Participating students should meet at Stanbridge by 8:30 a.m. Carpools will leave promptly at 8:30 to arrive at the ranch by 9:30. Links to the B.O.K. This Friday, October 7th, is an in-service day for Stanbridge faculty. There is no school for students.
Students will also have a day off on Monday, October 10th. Monday is Columbus Day and Stanbridge will be closed for the holiday.
Paul G. Stoltz, Ph.D. opens this year's Common Ground Speaker Series tomorrow, October 4th, with a morning lecture at The Nueva School in Hillsborough and an evening lecture at Harker Upper School in San Jose. He'll speak again on Wednesday evening at The Priory in Portola Valley. Details on Dr. Stoltz, his presentation, times, locations and directions are available on our Common Ground page.

The PSAT will be administered at Stanbridge on Wednesday, October 12th. Current 10th and 11th graders are invited to take the test. If you are interested in signing-up your student, please contact Meagan Cameron this week. You must enroll in advance in order to take the test. More information is available on our Transitions page.
After weeks of preparation, the Stanbridge Hawaiian Hoedown arrives tomorrow afternoon, Sunday October 2nd from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on campus. Featuring BBQ, games, raffles, a silent auction, music, dancing and more, it's a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon with family and friends. All the details are on our Hawaiian Hoedown page.
