Attention all Stanbridge families: The start of the new school year is less than a month away! Families with students enrolled should have received the summer mailing packet, which includes your student's schedule, the Parent-Student Handbook, all necessary administrative forms and more. If you have not received your packet, or have questions about any of the contents, please contact Susan in the main office.
We look forward to seeing all students, families and staff at the annual Back to School picnic on Sunday, August 26th, noon to 3:00 p.m. here on campus.
Stanbridge Graduation is an event not to be missed! Because the San Mateo Performing Arts Center is being renovated, this year's graduation ceremony and reception will be held at Open Door in San Mateo, 4150 Piccadilly Lane, located between 41st and 42nd Avenues. Click here for map and directions.
On Friday, June 8th students are asked to arrive at Stanbridge at the regular time of 8:25 a.m. Students in grades K-8 are required to dress in their formal uniform, white polo with the Stanbridge logo and khaki or navy trousers or skirts. Students and their teachers will be transported by private buses to Open Door that morning. Students sit with their teachers and classmates during the ceremony.
The graduation begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. and families of students in all grades are invited to attend, along with family friends and Stanbridge alumni.
During the graduation ceremony, additional awards are presented to students in grades K-12. Following the graduation ceremony, a reception will be held in the lobby area of Open Door.
This ceremony is the culmination of many years of hard work on the part of our students. Please join us as we celebrate their successes!
A reminder that this Tuesday afternoon, June 5, the elementary and junior high divisions will be holding their year-end Class Awards at 12:45 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room. Divisional parties will follow the awards ceremony and all parents and guardians are invited to attend.
The high school division will be holding their Class Awards and divisional party on Wednesday afternoon, June 6, also at 12:45 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room. We hope you can join us for these festive, year-end events!

This week is Spirit Week at Stanbridge! Don't forget that tomorrow, Tuesday, May 29th is Pajama Day. Students are welcome to wear their pajamas to school for the day. On Friday, May 25th, High School Teacher and Transition Coordinator Melissa Myers spoke with eighth-grade families who will be sending their child to Stanbridge's ninth grade next year. Melissa talked about the high school curriculum, staff, schedules and different graduation tracks, as well as many other topics of interest to incoming freshman parents.
