Just a reminder that the first quarter ends this Friday, October 25 and Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for the following Monday and Tuesday, October 28 & 29. If you would like to meet with your student's teacher(s), you must complete our online conference request form by this Thursday, Oct. 24.

Please note that, this year, high school conferences can be scheduled for either Monday or Tuesday, but all K-8 conferences will be held on Monday, October 28 only. Please submit your schedule requests accordingly. Conference schedules are completed on a first-come, first served basis, so please submit your request promptly.
Conference scheduling is done exclusively through online registration. Conferences will not be scheduled by phone or outside email and there are no drop-in appointments on conference days.
Friday, October 18, is a professional development day for teachers; students have the day off.
High school parents and guardians, please ensure your student returns the permission forms and waivers for next Tuesday's Day of Service. Also, permission forms for next Friday's Halloween Dance need to be returned to the main office by Wednesday. An updated version of the Stanbridge Family Directory has been posted on the Files & Forms page. Current Stanbridge families can access the document with their Parent Portal login. Updates to the directory will be published throughout the year as necessary. If you need to update your contact information, or would like to request a change/correction, please email our webmaster.
The Stanbridge Student Government will be having their monthly bake sale during lunch recess on Friday.
The goods for sale will have been baked by parent volunteers and some items will be gluten free. To keep things simple, all items will cost $1. As many Stanbridge students know, you can't have a Bake Sale without "Uncle" James Warren crooning "The Bake Sale Song." We've re-posted video of this hit single on our Media Room page (...along with some new pics from this week's elementary field trip, too!)
Stanbridge parents and guardians are encouraged to join us for Back to School Night tonight, September 17, at 6:00 p.m. Upon arrival, please pick up a BTS Night packet in Hayden Hall on your way to the Multipurpose room. High School packets will be labeled with students' names; families in Junior High and Elementary are asked to pick up a packet from their student's division.
Following a general presentation in the Multipurpose room, High School and Junior High parents will follow their student's schedule, with each class period lasting for 15 minutes. For Junior High and High School parents, the evening will end at 8:00 p.m.
Lower Elementary parents will go to Sara's classroom, Middle Elementary parents will go to Kim's classroom, Upper Elementary parents will go to their student's classroom: Jessica, Jerrod or Al's classrooms. The elementary classroom presentations should conclude by 7:30 p.m.
Please note, this evening is for parents only. If you are unable to attend, please contact your student's teacher(s) for any handouts.

Separated by grade division, the online guide includes course descriptions, texts and supplemental materials being used, and key goals for the class. Stanbridge Graduation is an event not to be missed! Because the San Mateo Performing Arts Center is being renovated, this year's graduation ceremony and reception will be held at Open Door in San Mateo, 4150 Piccadilly Lane, located between 41st and 42nd Avenues. Click here for map and directions.
On Friday, June 8th students are asked to arrive at Stanbridge at the regular time of 8:25 a.m. Students in grades K-8 are required to dress in their formal uniform, white polo with the Stanbridge logo and khaki or navy trousers or skirts. Students and their teachers will be transported by private buses to Open Door that morning. Students sit with their teachers and classmates during the ceremony.
The graduation begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. and families of students in all grades are invited to attend, along with family friends and Stanbridge alumni.
During the graduation ceremony, additional awards are presented to students in grades K-12. Following the graduation ceremony, a reception will be held in the lobby area of Open Door.
This ceremony is the culmination of many years of hard work on the part of our students. Please join us as we celebrate their successes!
A reminder that this Tuesday afternoon, June 5, the elementary and junior high divisions will be holding their year-end Class Awards at 12:45 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room. Divisional parties will follow the awards ceremony and all parents and guardians are invited to attend.
The high school division will be holding their Class Awards and divisional party on Wednesday afternoon, June 6, also at 12:45 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room. We hope you can join us for these festive, year-end events!
On Friday, June 1, Stanbridge will cap-off Spirit Week with our annual Field Day. Field Day features teams comprised of students and teachers from all divisions competing in picnic-style team games such as three-legged races, water balloon tosses, tug-of-war and more. The event takes place during the school day at Coyote Point Park (just across Highway 101 from Stanbridge) and includes a barbecue lunch.

On Tuesday, May 29th, the elementary division will celebrate the end of the year will some fun and a BBQ at Parkside Aquatic Park in San Mateo. The permission form has been posted to our Forms page and is due by Friday, May 25th.
A reminder that the Lower Elementary and Junior High divisions will be departing on their respective experiential trips this Tuesday, April 3rd. All students going on the trips are asked to bring their bags to school on Monday morning for gear checks. Bags can be dropped off in the Multipurpose Room where they will be secured until departure on Tuesday. The Lower Elementary students will be taking an overnight trip to the Elkus Ranch for their Spring experiential, April 3-4. Details about the trip, along with permission and medication forms, are available on our Forms page.

The annual high school holiday dance will be held in Hayden Hall on Friday, December 9, from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. Details and a downloadable permission form are available on our Forms page.
