Bridge to a Four-Year College or UniversitySome Stanbridge graduates choose to go on to four-year college and university programs after graduation. Below is a list of schools that alumni have attended in the past seven years. We offer students assistance in the following areas upon request:

Mitchell College
Mitchell College is a small 4-year college that offers AA, BA, and BS degrees. The school prides itself on its Academic Success Services center and ability to cater to students with learning differences. Mitchell's academic support services piece has expanded significantly over the past few years and they heavily recruit Stanbridge students. Mitchell College held their annual visit to Stanbridge Academy in October 2011, sending a representative to campus to talk with students and parents.
| Saint Mary's College of California
Saint Mary's College is a small, Catholic, liberal arts school located in the quiet and pastoral town of Moraga in the East Bay. The school offers BA, BS, MA, and Ph.D. degrees (Remember that this is a school of only 3,000 or so students!). The college is known for their Collegiate Seminar at the core of their liberal arts curriculum. This seminar is intended to build a solid foundation for students' to build upon and access high-order thinking. Another excellent school nearby!

Sonoma State
All Stanbridge graduates receiving a diploma qualify for admission into CSU schools, but the majority of grads who choose to enter into this system prefer the smaller more rural schools such as Sonoma State. Why? Because Sonoma State can say that 84% of their classes (including Freshman required courses) contain less than 50 students! The student to faculty ratio is 23:1. Another draw for Stanbridge students is the fact that so many Sonoma State students living on campus in suite-style dorms. Pretty sweet indeed!
| Beacon College
Beacon College in Florida is specifically for students with ADHD and "gifted LD." Here is what Beacon says about themselves: "At Beacon College, you will come to understand your learning disability in ways you never have before. We will show you how to optimize your academic strengths, and develop effective learning skills to help you achieve your goals." The school offers both AA and BA degrees in Liberal Studies, Human Services and Computer Information Systems.

Menlo College
Menlo College is a small business and liberal arts college on the Peninsula. In the last few years, they have expanded their Student Success Center, tapping into the potential for students on the Spectrum to work in technology fields. Menlo offers many forms of assistive technology for students who qualify; they also boast a large academic advisor staff.
| Whittier College
Whittier College is a small, liberal arts college located in a suburban area between LA and Orange County. The majority of Whittier students live on campus and the school has a well-equipt Center for Academic Success available for any student who qualifies. Whittier also offers a number of honors-level courses and is known for its academic rigor.
