Trained in sports psychology, Coach Wolff analyzes the pressures put on student athletes by parents, coaches, club sports and the college recruitment process. He provides insider advice on how to nurture well-balanced athletes with winning attitudes. Mr. Wolff’s books include Parenting Young Athletes the Ripken Way with Cal Ripken and Good Sports: The Concerned Parent’s Guide to Competitive Sports. Jan-Jun: Ramping Up for Independence"Ramping Up for Independence" is a training series for independent living that will take place at the Ed Roberts Campus in Berkeley from January through June 2012. The series is presented by United Cerebral Palsy of the Golden Gate.
Classes will meet once a month and topics will include: postsecondary education, employment, housing/living support, social relationships, safety, and recreation. This series is for transition age youth with developmental disabilities and their parents. When: Classes will meet once a month from January to June 2012.
