Stanbridge's Expert Share Speaker Series presents Attorney David Tollner: "IEP 101: Top Ten Strategies for Getting the Most from Your IEP"
1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in Hayden Hall
An Individual Education Program (IEP) can be a lifeline for families of students with special needs, but navigating the process of developing an IEP can be intimidating. Stanbridge invites you to our first Expert Share Speaker Series event of the school year, where attorney David Tollner will presents his "Top Ten Strategies for Getting the Most from Your IEP." The presentation will focus on the keys to a successful IEP, how to approach it, what to say and not say, and what to do before and after to maximize the supports and services for your child. It is a helpful discussion for any parent with a child on an IEP, and particularly those parents who are not happy with what the district is giving their child.
Join David on the Stanbridge campus for this small group informational session where you will also have the opportunity to engage in Q&A and share your own tips with fellow parents and guardians. David brings his trial experience as a litigator, unique knowledge of special education process and services, and formidable passion to his special education practice. David has served as Executive Director of Pacific Autism Center for Education (PACE) and Rebekah Children's Services. David opened Tollner Law Offices in 2007 and has since built it into one of the largest disability law firms in Northern California, serving children and adults with special needs.
