Stanbridge Academy at a glance
Executive Functioning
Support and development of executive functioning skills is incorporated throughout our program. Assistive technology and learning supports are integrated to ensure that every student thrives in their classroom environment. |
Social & Emotional Development
In addition to academics, our program addresses the whole child. Our staff includes a full-time Speech & Language therapist, and two licensed MFT counselors. Weekly social learning classes and social groups are incorporated into our curriculum. |
Meaningful Experiential Program
A cornerstone of the Stanbridge program since 1982, students in every grade participate in curriculum-based day trips and overnight experiences that reinforce classroom content, help develop independence, and build self-confidence. |
A Proven Track Record Since 1982
For 40 years, students who learn differently have found success at Stanbridge. Our school is fully accredited by CAIS and WASC through the 2025–2026 academic year. |
Ensuring Postsecondary Success
About 75% of all Stanbridge graduates continue their academic careers at two- or four-year colleges; others enroll in residential education programs or enter the workforce. Our program ensures all students find the best next-step that is right for them. |
Small Class Sizes in All Grades
Our classes use standards-based curriculum and generally maintain an 8:1 student-to-teacher ratio, allowing for individualized, differentiated instruction for effective learning. |
