As a result of attending Stanbridge, I have improved significantly and in a multitude of ways. First of all, I am now better academically. For instance, I have won several Academic Achievement Awards. Secondly, I have become more socially proficient. Likewise, I have had several friends at Stanbridge.
There have been many highlights from my time at Stanbridge. Firstly, being on the basketball team was fun and helped to increase my athletic skills. I am able to score a significant amount of points in basketball games. Whereas before, I would only score a few times a season. My favorite game was one against a school, which the team frequently played, called STAR Academy. STAR Academy had managed to obtain a lead of fourteen points. But, my team was able to make up for that. Several times, I was able to get the ball and dribble down to the other end of the court. Then, I made lay-ups. As a result, we were able to win the game. Also, I particularly enjoyed the experiential trips, especially ski trips in elementary. Initially, I was inexperienced and only able to go down one slope. Through practice, I was able to attempt to ski down a Black Diamond slope during the school's final ski trip. I was not successful because I had to slide down an especially steep part. Although, I did not succeed that time, I am now able to ski down black diamonds; including that specific route. My time at Stanbridge has had a variety of highlights.
Many people have helped me during my time at Stanbridge. First, my parents. They have been very helpful, particularly in choosing to send me to Stanbridge Academy. Also, they have been very kind. Thank you mom and dad. Additionally, I want to thank Mark for coaching the Stanbridge Academy Basketball team. I find this important because being a part of the team has been effective exercise, and it improved my attitude about work. Furthermore, I will thank my Lower EL teacher, Maggie Deloach. She gave me an excellent impression of Stanbridge during my first year. Moreover, thank you Jay for allowing me to be part of the Computer Science class. I learned how to code in Java; which I find quite pleasant. With that skill, I now have the ability to program projects, such as video games. All in all, there has been a plentiful amount of people who helped me while I was attending Stanbridge.
In the Fall I will begin attending College of San Mateo. While there, I am going to obtain an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. Later, I plan on transferring to a different college. At said college I will continue to study in the same field. Finally, I hope to get a job as an accountant. I believe that will be a good job to get for many reasons, one being, that I enjoy math class. To summarize, I look forward to taking these steps towards my goals.
