A Snazzy Visit from Wilcox High School Jazz Ensemble

Coordinating with Santa Clara County High School music program, Stanbridge enjoyed a hip visit from cool cat performers that range from 9th-12th grade. This Jazz Ensemble entertained all of us with their style, talent, and well executed versions of a variety of Jazz tunes. It was wonderful to see how music speaks to out community as even some of our littlest audience members bopped and tapped their feet to the rhythm.

The musicians held a Q&A at the end and even took a request from one of our students, to play a favorite song. Thanks to Matt Robidoux, Stanbridge Music Teacher extraordinaire, for coordinating this visit. There was also a special connection - on drums you may see someone that looks a bit familiar, our Director of Admissions' son, Kirsten Gamb gets to enjoy George Gamb's performances all the time but her smile radiated at the special treat of having a visit from her favorite drummer while at work.
