Description: In the High School Technology course students will gain exposure and familiarity with a wide variety of technology tools and resources. Students will also learn and practice the core aspects of Digital Citizenship. The major topics in the course include expertise in the Google Software suite(major emphasis on email, documents, slides, forms, and spreadsheets), typing and word processing, digital art and photography, coding and app/game creation, and the use of multimedia tools for website, animation, and video creation. Major projects in the course may include document creation, digital art, online game creation, and digital movies.

Executive Functioning Support
In order to support long term planning, organization, and work completion, the following procedures are in place:
- Classwork is assigned on Google Classroom.
- Classroom routines and procedures are explained and reinforced each class period.
- Each student establishes individual short-term and long term goals to be accomplished during this school year.
- Assignments include clear, step by step instructions and a timeline for completion.
- Specific skills are practiced daily during class.
- Students are allowed opportunities to improve their grades by correcting quizzes and tests.

- Have parent email teacher, Linda, and student's Advisor when you are going to be absent.
