We welcome new students throughout the school year when spaces are available.

Applications for enrollment must include the following:

• a $300 application fee
• all necessary assessments, psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations (within the last three years)
• a letter of recommendation from a previous school
• a one-page parent narrative, describing what accomodations/modifications your child needs for academic and social success. (Be specific)
• a recent photograph of applicant

The following information will assist you in preparing documentation for the application and enrollment process at Stanbridge Academy:

Step One:
To request an informational packet describing Stanbridge’s program, please contact our front office at 650-375-5860. An admissions representative is available to speak one-on-one or to schedule a personalized tour of our campus. You can also schedule a campus tour by clicking the link on the left side of this page.

Step Two:
After learning more about Stanbridge Academy, if you would like your child to be considered for placement, the following is required:

• Completed and signed application form (click here to download)
• $300 non-refundable application fee
• Copies of any educational, academic or psychological testing performed
• Copy of IEP/504 (if applicable)
• Signed transcript release
• Report cards and standardized testing results
• Speech and Language Report
• Brief descriptive narrative describing the child's strengths, weaknesses and interests

Once the above information is received, it will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee to determine if the Stanbridge program is appropriate for your child.

Step Three:
Your child will be invited for a full-day shadow visit within the appropriate division. The intake appointment will include a tour and discussion of the school, focusing on the division in which your child may be placed.

After your child has shadowed, the Head of School discusses with you feedback from the visit and together you determine if Stanbridge is an appropriate placement for your child. Based on that discussion your child may be invited to attend Stanbridge Academy.

At the completion of each step, a decision is made whether to continue with the process.
