Afterschool Clubs
& Summer School

Afterschool Enrichment at Stanbridge

The Arts,  Creative Play, Cultural Studies, Digital Newspaper,  Garden Science, Generational Connections, Music, Social Gaming, and more! Afterschool clubs offer Stanbridge students a chance to enhance their talents in an area of interest, or sample their skills at a new endeavor, all while building social skills and connecting with their fellow classmates and teachers. A variety of clubs and enrichment activities are offered to students in all grades, and students are invited to enroll in one or more (club costs are not included with tuition).

Afterschool club sessions are scheduled in trimesters during the school year, and the selection of clubs is subject to change throughout the year based on student and teacher/staff interests. The number of classes per course fluctuates per session due to school holidays and may contain eight to eleven classes. Previous club offerings have included: Python coding (with SnapLogic engineers), Stage improvisation, Dungeons & Dragons, math, ceramics, cooking, drawing, creative play, swimming (through a partnership with the San Mateo YMCA), and yoga.

Summer School at Stanbridge Academy

Stanbridge Academy’s Summer School program helps keep our students’ minds working as they explore and discover new information about the world and themselves in a familiar and nurturing environment. From academics and athletics to outdoor activities and artistic pursuits, there is truly something for everyone.

Each year, Stanbridge offers a variety of summer courses for students in all divisions, including incoming students. Our Summer School program is scheduled in week-long courses, with each course generally occurring Monday through Friday of the specific week.

Summer School 2022 launches the week of June 20, 2022 and runs through July 29. Look for a complete course guide and registration form to be published online later this winter.
