Welcome to Stanbridge
Since 1982, the mission of Stanbridge Academy has been to provide a comprehensive, structured academic environment for students who learn differently. We know what it means to have a child who is not “a cookie-cutter kid,” and we understand the frustration of parents who have seen their children struggle in schools that simply were not the right fit.
At Stanbridge, we embrace differences.
Our students have a variety of learning and social challenges.
All of our students benefit from small class sizes, differentiated instruction, development of executive functioning skills, and a schoolwide social learning curriculum. Our program is designed to provide a comprehensive, whole-school experience and community for each student at every grade level.
Each Stanbridge student is on his or her own personal academic journey, and our staff is there every step of the way to support our students in achieving their goals. For some, this means building academic confidence or developing executive functioning skills before they transition to a mainstream school. Others find our approach so effective that they remain at Stanbridge from elementary through high school. From early grades through graduation, we support students who learn differently to grow academically, socially, and emotionally at a school where they are heard, understood, and celebrated.
