For the last 40 years, each Stanbridge graduate has pursued his or her own unique post-Stanbridge path. For some, that meant staying in and around the Bay Area, but for others, their paths have led them to schools and jobs across the country—and in some cases, even out of the country. Below is a small cross-section of Stanbridge graduates who have found success following the postsecondary path that best suited them. Click the links to read their stories:

  • Laura Jung, Class of 2008: After attending Foothill College, Laura found her recipe for success at the Seattle Culinary Institute.

  • Lana Frankle, Class of 2011: Lana has a doctorate degree on her mind, studying neuroscience at Kent State after graduating from UC Santa Cruz.

  • William Lane, Class of 2012: The pursuit of happiness (and a degree) led William to major in history after receiving a scholarship to St. Mary's.

  • Sarah Carlson, Class of 2013: Sarah knew college wasn't right for her, so she's living her dream as an artist and quilter working in San Mateo.

...and there are hundreds of other success stories, each unique to the individual graduate. From working toward an advanced degree at a four-year college or university, to studying at a community college or trade school, to pursuing their passion in the workforce and living independently, our Transitions Program ensures that every Stanbridge graduate finds his or her bridge to a bright future.
