Tuition
Tuition for the 2024-2025 school year is $54,800.
Tuition covers the people and programs that make Stanbridge so unique:
While tuition at Stanbridge is comparable to most other LD schools in the Bay Area, we recognize that it is a significant financial investment. We offer financial aid to qualifying families; read below to learn more.
Stanbridge is dually-accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) through 2026. These accreditations by outside institutions substantiate that our students and staff are being provided with the best educational environment.
Tuition is typically paid in ten monthly installments throughout the school year (10% of full tuition as the initial deposit, followed by nine additional 10% payments due on the first of each month). Families who enroll their student after the first month of the school year have their tuition pro-rated. Our Business Office is available to discuss alternate payment schedules and financial aid—contact Ward Quincey at [email protected] with any questions.

Financial Aid
With the cost of living in the Bay Area among the highest in the country, we understand that sending your child to Stanbridge is not an easy financial decision. We want to support each family’s access to a Stanbridge education. Families who are not able to afford the full cost of tuition may apply for tuition assistance (financial aid). To help the school make an accurate determination of a family’s need, Stanbridge Academy uses School & Student Services (SSS), an independent agency which is a part of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), which will collect all required information and forms on the school’s behalf.
Families currently receiving tuition assistance have first priority in receiving consideration for aid for the following year. The second priority is for families with returning students which are not currently receiving financial aid. The final priority is for new students entering Stanbridge Academy.
Please see our updated Financial Aid Information & FAQs document for important and detailed information on how to apply for financial aid as well as to learn how awards are determined.
