Afterschool Clubs
& Summer School

Afterschool Enrichment at Stanbridge

Afterschool clubs offer Stanbridge students a chance to enhance their talents in an area of interest, or sample their skills at a new endeavor, while building social skills and connecting with their fellow classmates and teachers. A variety of clubs and enrichment activities are offered to students in all grades. Club costs are in addition to annual tuition.

Afterschool club sessions are scheduled in trimesters during the school year, and the selection of clubs is subject to change throughout the year based on student and teacher/staff interests. Previous club offerings have included: Python coding (with SnapLogic engineers), Stage improvisation, Dungeons & Dragons, math, ceramics, cooking, drawing, foreign languages, garden science, generational connections, swimming (through a partnership with the San Mateo YMCA), and yoga.

Summer School at Stanbridge Academy

Stanbridge Academy’s Summer School program helps keep our students’ minds working as they explore and discover new information about the world and themselves in a familiar and nurturing environment. From academics and athletics to outdoor activities and artistic pursuits, there is truly something for everyone.

Each year, Stanbridge offers a variety of summer courses for students in all divisions, including incoming students. Not only do we offer Extended School Year for all grades in Summer 2025, but other learning opportunities in Visual Arts, Gaming and SEL, Technology, and Athletics! Our Summer School program is scheduled for five week-long courses with a family break during the Independence Week of July 4th.

Think of Stanbridge Summer School as week-long forays into detailed art & design technology; local travel destinations & navigating public transportation; athletics & teamwork; ecology & sustainability; social strategies through gaming; executive functioning; balancing a healthy lifestyle; exercise, healthy cooking, journaling, goal-setting, and mindfulness; and, of course, we have have reading, writing, and arithmetic, too.
