Join us on campus this summer!
After a year of distance-learning and more screentime than we ever thought possible, we are excited to be offering five weeks of in-person, on-campus Summer School this year (plus a two-week online course, as well). In addition to the Extended School Year (ESY) offerings for our K–8 students, we are pleased to announce a variety of courses in June and July designed to keep our Bulldogs engaged and connected to their classrooms and classmates.
Offerings on deck included Basketball Camp, along with new Martial Arts and Soccer classes with Coach Arsen, plus a new Zumba class with local favorite Gaby Torres. Dungeons & Dragons fans rejoice—Tasha's D&D course returned for a full day with a new twist, and Daniel will be leading half-day sessions of Minecraft Math & Board Games. Not only can you learn how film writers achieve the "language" of a specific category of movie in Intro to Film Genre, but Camp Cinemabilities will create a movie together online along with industry professionals in our only Distance Learning course this summer. We also offered exciting new classes by reputable community educators on our own campus such as Coding & Robotics and Transforming Lives Through Chess. Old favorites like Geocaching, Lunch and a Movie, and Nature Explorers returned, and more! Full-day and half-day (morning/afternoon) options were slated, with something for every grade division during all five weeks of this year's summer session.
The full schedule of courses and descriptions is on our online Summer School Course Guide, and you can register your student for open courses using the online Enrollment Form (both linked above). Summer School at Stanbridge begins the week of June 21–25 and runs through July 26–30 (no classes the week of July 5–9). Most classes are stand-alone, week-long offerings, and as noted, a few courses are mornings or afternoons only. Full details, including tuition costs, course descriptions, and more can be found on the Course Guide; for additional questions, contact Enrichment Manager Linda Bargas at [email protected].
