Beyond the Classroom

Stanbridge High School students have access to the full school experience. Athletics, clubs, student government, community service, dances and prom are all part of what it means to be a Stanbridge student.

As a founding member of the Bay Area Small School Athletics League (BASSAL), Stanbridge competes in league sports including basketball, volleyball, soccer and cross country. Students experience the full arc of athletic competition: practices, games, teamwork and school spirit.

Student government gives high schoolers a meaningful leadership role, building self-advocacy, civic responsibility and executive functioning skills in an authentic context. Community service opportunities connect students to the broader world beyond campus. After-school activities span interests from yearbook and chess to ceramics and Dungeons and Dragons.

All Stanbridge students are invited and encouraged to attend school dances and the annual Spring Prom — social milestones that matter, and that students here get to experience alongside peers who understand what it means to belong.
