Stanbridge serves students in kindergarten through 12th grade with mild to moderate learning differences and social communication challenges. This includes students with dyslexia, ADHD and autism spectrum profiles, as well as students with other language-based or social learning needs. If you are unsure whether your child fits our profile, reach out and we'll talk through it with you.
-
Yes. Stanbridge accepts new students on a rolling basis throughout the school year when space is available. Tuition is prorated based on your child's start date.
-
Your child will spend two consecutive full days attending regular classes alongside current students. They will be paired with a peer ambassador throughout. Students in grades 4 through 12 may complete brief reading and math assessments. The shadow visit gives our team the chance to observe your child in a real classroom setting and gives your child a genuine sense of what school here feels like.
-
Timeline varies depending on when you inquire and whether space is available in the appropriate class. We move as efficiently as possible and keep families informed at each step.
-
Yes. Stanbridge offers tuition assistance to qualifying families, processed through School and Student Services (SSS). Priority is given to currently enrolled families, then returning families not yet receiving aid, then newly enrolling families.
-
Stanbridge is certified as a Non-Public School (NPS) by the California Department of Education for K-12. If your child's IEP team determines that the district cannot provide an appropriate placement, the district may refer your child to Stanbridge and cover tuition costs. NPS placement requires a district referral.

Qualified students for whom no immediate space is available are placed in a waitpool. Families are notified as soon as a space opens. We encourage families to inquire early, particularly for the fall semester.
