Beyond the Classroom

Middle School students at Stanbridge have access to the full school experience. That means after school activities, athletics, community events and social opportunities designed to help every student find their place and build genuine connections with peers.

After-school activities span a wide range of interests. Past offerings have included Dungeons and Dragons, ceramics, coding, art, garden science and cooking. Students are encouraged to try something new, not just pursue what they already know they love.

As a founding member of the Bay Area Small School Athletics League (BASSAL), Stanbridge competes in league sports including basketball, volleyball, soccer and cross country. Middle School students can participate in athletics as part of the full school experience, building teamwork, school spirit and physical confidence alongside their academic work.

Family social meetups connect Stanbridge families with one another beyond the school day, reinforcing the sense of community that defines the school's culture.

A young boy with short brown hair and light skin is standing against a tan textured wall, wearing a blue sports jersey with the words 'Stanbridge' and the number '32' printed on it. He is holding a basketball with both hands.

They are dressed casually, with colorful t-shirts and skirts, and appear to be participating in an outdoor activity or game.
