Stanbridge Academy is a K-12 independent school in San Mateo serving neurodivergent learners since 1982. We are one of the only schools of our kind in the Bay Area, combining a rigorous academic program, embedded therapeutic supports and a full school experience for students with mild to moderate learning differences and social communication challenges.

Stanbridge is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS), and is certified by the California Department of Education as a Non-Public School (NPS) for kindergarten through 12th grade.
